So believe it or not, I don’t just officiate at weddings. I also write and perform baby namings.
Check out these two beautiful babies, from recent naming ceremonies, who coincidentally share the same bithdate.
Gorgeous Kaden was the absolute star of the show on his Naming Day, as his parents Nikki and Mark and their families, named Kaden . As well as honouring his dual Kiwi and Irish ancestry, we appointed 4 Godparents to be his Champions. Lucky boy!
Lovely Antonia and her parents Margaret and Andy travelled all the way from London to share a stunning Naming day with family and friends. In a nod to Antonia’s ancestry, the ceremony was concluded with a toast from a Quaich, a traditional Scottish toasting cup – A great way to welcome a beautiful bonny lass.
Emily and Ben chose possibly the most stunning spot in all of Auckland, when they wed at Karekare Falls.
A relaxed ceremony with a song by family members and the presence of Emily and Ben’s 2 dogs – Jimmy choo and Coco, made for the perfect wedding day.
Patricia and Andrew married at the lovely Wintergarden Pavilion in Auckland Domain. In a charming touch they had their Moms each share a reading and then concluded the ceremony with a sand ceremony.
The weather was perfect for Haydyn and Nyssa’s big day at Kumeu Valley Estate. When Haydyn (a music teacher) surprised Nyssa by singing her down the aisle, there was hardly a dry eye in the place. Music really is the language of Love.
The inside and outside at Coatesville Settler’s hall was transformed into a floral extravaganza at Jenna and Jared’s gorgeous wedding… but then again, Jenna is a talented florist, so she has the eye. They also wrote their own beautiful Vows that were a surprise for each other on the day. Simply perfect.
Congratulations to you all!
